What we Believe
Core Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of this online ministry. It is the foundational truths taught in the Bible and all of our teachings, ministry, missions work, events, art, products, and everything else we do as a team, is rooted in the flows out of these biblical beliefs.
Scripture
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, truth without any error in its original writings, written by men under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and it has the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and conduct for all who follow Christ, Jesus.
Trinity
We believe in ONE GOD, creator of Heaven and Earth and sustainer of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Father
We believe GOD the Father reigns with providential care over His universes, His creatures, and over the flow of human history according to His purposes. He is perfect in all things; character, power, knowledge, love, truth, and grace. It is only through His Son, Jesus Christ that we may come to the Father in Heaven.
The Son
We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He died on the cross, a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. He rose physically from he dead, conquering death once and far all, for those that believe, ascended to the right hand of God the Father and is now our High Priest.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, convict people of sin, regenerate those who believe and indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the Christian for Godly living and service.
The Church
We believe that online ministry is no substitute for the body of believers, the church. We believe that each believer of Jesus Christ should be involved with a local body of believers that trust, live, fellowship, and worship together. We believe it is through the church that we are baptized and have the honor of the Lord’s Supper.
Marriage
We believe marriage was created and blessed by God. We believe marriage is of one male and one female established by God in a single exclusive union. These two distinct and complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. We believe it's a biblical institution. We believe it's within the union God ordained sexual intimacy to occur only between the man and woman who are married to each other.
The Nature of Humanity
We believe every person has worth and value as they are all created in the image of God. Because each human is created in the image of God we all have the ability to experience a personal relationship with God. However, every person has forfeited that relationship because each one, according to his or her sinful nature, by acts of their will, has rejected God.
The Salvation of Humanity
Salvation from sin is only provided by God in Heaven. It was done through the voluntary sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on the cross for our sins. That salvation is a free gift of God to all who repent of their sins and trust in Jesus as Lord and Saviour. The result of accepting this free gift is restoration in the relationship between you and Him, which every person was created for.
The Security of the Believer
We believe that all true believers by virtue of their faith in Jesus are kept secure in Him forever. Each believer is commanded to love God with all their heart, all their mind, and all their spirit. True believers are not exempt because of their faith from experiencing temptations, doubts, times of grief, times of struggles, and times of unfaithfulness. But Christ will ultimately persevere them in faith.
The Conduct of the Believer
We believe that a Christian is to live for the glory of God and the well-being of his fellow humans. His or her conduct should be blameless before the world, should do all they can to maintain a good reputation, and to not give the appearance of living in sin. Believers should faithfully use all their blessings from God to serve and honor God and they should seek to realize for themselves and others the goal of a full mature disciple of Christ is to grow in the relationship with God.
