Prayer for Our Nation

Dear Jesus, my Lord and Savior,

In the depths of my heart, I come before you today with a heavy burden for our beloved nation, the United States. The darkness that surrounds our government, the constant deceits and lies, and the biased perspectives of the media weigh heavily on my soul. I am troubled by the rumors of wars and the unjustness of laws that favor the rich while neglecting the middle class and the poor. 

Lord, I grieve the division that is being sown among us, as the ungodly seek to divide us based on skin color rather than the content of the character of our souls. The evil one is blinding people, preventing them from seeing the truth of Your divine presence and love. Our government seems determined to undermine our nation's foundations along with the faith we hold dear.

As a mother, wife, servant, and patriot, I cry out to you, Jesus, to intercede. Protect our nation, guide our leaders, and awaken our fellow citizens to the truth. Bring light to the darkness. Help us stand against the forces that seek to erode our values and tear us apart. Grant us wisdom and discernment to see through the falsehoods and hold steadfast to your eternal truths.

May our nation forever stand in support of Israel, as they hold a special place in your divine plan, as You call them the “apple of Your eyes.” Strengthen the bond between our nations and grant us the grace to be a blessing to others, both at home and abroad.

In your loving and mighty name, I humbly pray, believing that you hear and answer the cries of your faithful children.
